Welcome back to the How-To series!

You’ve seen how to create and edit, but how can you make it look all fancy, with some images or even videos and other media? Here’s a little guide to show you exactly how!

When creating a topic, you should see some icons towards the bottom of the main text field, there’s a bunch of different options here:

Text options (red) - Here you can modify the text in your post, making text bold, italic, underlined, or adding bullet points or numbered points.

Images (green) - This is the section where you can insert images. The camera inserts an image to the text field. You can select a file from your computer or device to add in here. You can upload a gif, jpeg, jpg, or png file.

Embed media (purple) - The embed button to the right of it allows you to paste a link for YouTube, Soundcloud, Deezer, Vimeo and Dailymotion (although please don’t send us your mixed tapes and short films…. Unless they’re really good).

Links (blue) - Instead of having a link out in the open, you can neaten the post up by adding a link to a word or sentence like this. Just highlight where you want the link, click this icon, and you’ll be able to paste your link into the pop-up box.

Upload files (pink) - This is where you can upload any other files for us all to see. Supported file types are: gif, jpeg, jpg, png, csv, doc, docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, txt, xls, xlsx, xml, and zip

Most importantly, the smiley face to the right is the doorway to our comprehensive list of emoji’s 🤣🕵🏽🚣🏾🆓🇮🇴⚰
