Have you hit a minus balance on your Boost app? Unable to top up the same day and don't want to be disconnected?

Luckily, if you're a Boost Pay as You Go + customer, and top up via the Boost app, you're able to activate discretionary credit yourself to keep yourself on supply until you can top up normally.

We’ve put together a handy little video that explains how to do this below!

Also, if you've not checked it out already, we posted our first How To Video about how to reconnect your smart meters once they've gone off supply. You can check out that video here!

Do you want to see more videos like this? Without feedback from you, we won’t know, so let us know in the comments below!

Hi. I can’t top up until Tuesday Jan 7th but usage shows only enough credit to last tomorrow Sunday. I’ve used my emergency boost but paid back £15 can I utilise this again?  Help

Hi @Kat - I’ve moved your query over here.

If you’ve paid back half of your Emergency Boost, then you can request more again up to the value of £30. More info above.

Do you get charged a fee for using this handy feature?

Hey @Emskie19 - there are no additional charges involved - you just pay back the amount you’ve borrowed :)
