So you’re part of Boost, our new PAYG brand! Great, but now you can’t log in to My Boost or the Boost app - we want to know why!

Make sure your login details are correct, and consider deleting your browsing history and cache.

Then use this link to reset your password: https://my.boostpower.co.uk/password/reset. Try to log in again and if you can’t, share your experience so we can help each other.

Now that the app has been up and running now for some time, all initial teething errors and issues should be fixed.

However, we've made a handy little My Boost app advice page to answer well known and common issues here!

I’m having trouble login to boost, I’m a new customer and it’s saying there’s a problem with my email address
Same here, its a pretty poor and frustrating introduction tbh. How do we register in order to log in to Boost??

@Peach and @Emma Hi, I've just checked and have been able to log in just. Give customer services a call if you can't get in. They'll fix it.

Remember that you'll need smart meters fitted to be able to log in online and via the app. You can use an OVO booking page here to get them fitted: smart.ovoenergy.com/paygplus.

Teething problems i promise.
to be able to log in you have to submit your username and password, we haven't been issued with usernames and passwords so logging in is impossible

Hi @Peach, you won't be given a login, you will need to use your email address and password you used for OVO and if that doesn't work, use your email and use the forgotten password link to reset it, that should allow you to login.

It says 'email address not recognised' because weve never been asked to submit it, you wont have it on your database. We cant even get passed the first hurdle as stated in the very 1st and subsequent posts.

I had the same problem. Network error. So i went into apps and reset my cache for the app now works great

Hi I’ve done this and still can’t log in! I have £1 left on the £5 emergency credit he set yesterday when he changed my meter! I had £30 credit on it when he changed them and it’s not appeared and now I’m unable to log on and top it up! I have 3 small children in my house and I’m getting increasingly annoyed with this service already!

It'll not cut out over the weekend. So don't worry. Call the team. They'll sort the credit. It takes a few days for credit to transfer over if i remember.

My email was deleted from the service and I cant top up. Your customer service is woeful and this garbage forum is worth about as much as 2nd hand toilet paper.

Perhaps one the sycophant mods or shill users can point me to the worthless customer service team that I already tried? Im sure that will sort out all my problems like its done for everyone else with problems with the rubbish boost.

Only thing you lot have managed to boost is my desire to move to another supplier. Paying a little bit more I dont care about. A care about good customer service and frankly Ive had better results talking to amazon customer service than the garbage that passes for help here.

Still can't log in? I've got a few tips here to try:

If you're using the app, log in via My Boost instead: https://my.boostpower.co.uk/login.

Try and reinstall the app to make sure the latest version has downloaded correctly.

Still an issue, give us a call to diagnose: 0330 102 7517.

It still doesn't work I used the email the one Im signed up with done my password n still doesn't work

if clearing the cache, trying the reset the password link & registering are all to no avail a second mentioned above give customer services as buzz during the week to help get you up and running.

Hi @Dallas I appreciate it has been a while since you posted so I'm hoping you resolved the problem at hand?

If not the best bet is to either reach out the the boost customer care team via social media, email, phone or indeed via this forum with either @Tim_Boost @Lucy_Boost @Emma_Boost Or @Darran_Boost who will Be more than happy to help resolve things.
