My letter said would be within 6 weeks so it will depend on when you applied and your award was made. I think it also depends on whether your in the automatic qualification group or not.

On this subject my neighbour applied at least 3 weeks ago and had heard no response. She came over to ovo on my recommendation so I would hate for her to lose out.

If your Warm Home Discount application has been approved, we’re aiming to make the payments within 6 weeks of the confirmation, but please note the official deadline is March 2018.

I applied for my Warm Home Discount through Ovo Energy's website several weeks before I received notice about your change to becoming Boost Energy and it's already been approved. Do I have to reapply using Boost Energy's application process or will all of my account details from Ovo Energy be automatically transferred over and there'll be no necessity to reapply once this change of your Company's name has been completed?

I really don't want to go through the same nonsense as I did last year; my application was initially approved and then it was refused and, after I appealed against Ovo's third party decision, was finally re-approved and I received it at the very end of March this year. As I say I don't want to have to be constantly applying or reapplying for this discount especially when my medical history is no different than it has been since the very start of this discount. Any advice that you could give to me would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yeah the deadline is Mach but last year I did not get paid till well after the dead line that's why I would like it sorted out quicker

Hi @Gavin You are correct that the deadline is March 2018, however we are doing our very best to ensure we pay everyone with successful application in around 6 weeks.

I do know that when you apply you do get an email confirming they've received the application.

Hi I just got an email from OVO telling me I have got my discount and I need to top up to get it with my electricity key? This would be difficult because A. I'm now with boost and B. I don't have an electricity key I have smart meters could some one please tell me what is going on? This is very confusing.

What I would like is to have this sorted online that's what I signed up for and if it's changed brand to boost why do I need to call OVO?

No worries, @Gavin I will send you a PM to take down some account details and then get this Warm Home Discount added correctly.

As Boost is still part of the OVO family, you will still use the same OVO cards unless you top up online.

I switched to Boost but applied for the warm home discount with my previous supplier, do I have to apply again with Boost?
It'll depend if you're part of the Broader or Core group @Ilya99

I got a letter saying that I was entitled to winter warmer allowance due to low income. I've had nothing else. I've got the evidence to prove and provide but don't know what else to do.

I’ve received my letter stating my WHD is ready (I’m using traditional prepayment meters) I have followed all the instructions where u have to load a small amount of cash on every day consecutively at the same PayPoint for at least 3/5 days we’ll im now in my 6th day & still nothing has been added to my gas meter????

I have been in touch with boost by phone on several occasions about my application for w h d I was sent an email end of October to say I've been successful with my application waited for a couple of weeks it was applied to my payg smart meter so got back InTouch they told me then to get InTouch with DWP as it was in there hands I did this to be told it was nothing to do with them so once again I got InTouch with boost they told me to send supporting evidence I done this by email I then received a letter to say I needed more up to date evidence of my benefits I've done this sent the information they need spoke to boost by phone once again I have now had an email to say I've sent it to the wrong email address I need to send it to ovo I have now received an email of ovo to say they are looking into it could someone please tell me if I am with ovo or boost for my energy thanking you Paula Vaughan ..m
