You wouldn’t have to look at another top tip again, which means I wouldn’t get as many views… Actually, don’t sign up to it, I like the attention. If you’re interested, there’s much more info here!

Here comes our seventh weekly top tip...

Energy Saving Top Tip #7: Watch how long you’re in the shower - £7 per person

Hour showers are the best, but they aren’t very economical and can cost you more than you may think. If you fit a timer in your shower, you can monitor how long you’ve been. Cutting just 1 minute off your shower time can save you £7 per person per year! That’s a £28 saving for a family of four! That’s the equivalent of either 1 x Executive Aluminium Door Sign OR 1 x Ultimate Spiderman backpack per person (glasses and magazine in picture not included in the price).

So far with these tips, we have saved enough for:

120 Mr Freeze Pops
85 Kinder Eggs
1 UV protective golf hat
1 karaoke set
1 medical dog vest
1 giant Pingu plush toy
1 Executive Aluminium Door Sign or 1 Ultimate Spiderman backpack per person

Monetary value - £351

Just so you know, we’ve now created the Top Tips Collection, which is an archive for all of these! If you think of a Tip that you want to share with us, your name will be forever praised in the collection!
