Hello to you all, thanks for returning again for another top tip!

This is almost a tip in itself, but if you’re ever struggling to top up, don’t forget we now have the Emergency Boost option that pops up when you run out of credit. More details on that here!

Now, onto the top tip of the week!

Energy Saving Top Tip #3: Wash your clothes at 30° - £52

It turns out those dials on the washing machine with different numbers on them actually change settings (I always just assumed they were purely for looks). If you lower the temperature from 40° to 30°, you’ll save roughly a third of the energy consumption. So dropping it by a quarter will save you a third, the maths is on your side!

To put that into perspective, you can save up to £52 a year, which is the equivalent of this dashing UV protective golf hat.

Savings:

So far with these tips, we have saved enough for:

120 Mr Freeze Pops
85 Kinder Eggs
1 UV protective golf hat

Monetary value - £157

Have any of you got any tips that’ll help us save us a bit of cash? If so, please let us know in the comments, we’ll be sure to credit you if we use your tip!
