Whilst everyone is enjoying this incredible weather, you should be seeing a big drop in your energy usage, thanks to the earth’s natural radiator beaming down on us!

What better time than any to start making some energy-saving habits? Not only will this prepare you for when the winter hits, and the usage shoots right up again, but it’ll even help you contribute toward your Winter Wallet.

So on to our first ever Energy Saving Top Tip!

Energy Saving Top Tip #1: Turn off standby appliances - £30

It may just look like a little red light on the bottom of your TV, but turning appliances off at the socket can see a saving of about £30 a year, or the equivalent of 120 Mr. Freeze Pops (you’re gonna need these for the heatwave!).

You could even buy sockets with a timer on, so it automatically switches itself off, so you don’t even need to worry about this!
