Good news,
Thank goodness for been able to top up via laptop, also at the minute on PAYG+ the minimum amount I can top up is 5.00, will this be changing on PAYG Smart to having to top a minimum of 5.00 on each account. Thank you
I believe the minimum top up amount amount will be reduced to £1 when Smart PAYG is live
Will you be able to use Windows pc to top up like old system
Will be moving to new supplier as soon as we can
new app is step backwards
Good news,
I think you really need to include this information about it being able to be accessed via browser on your communications as I absolutely hate phone apps and especially for financial transactions.
Most of us have happily used a browser for topping up or using Boost for years and the issue that you can’t auto-top up weekly/fortnightly is bad enough but not mentioning in the communications that one CAN do it on a standard web browser should REALLY be made clear.
I realise many people these days don’t even use a laptop/PC at home but the option is pretty vital to those of us who prefer it for bigger format and ease of access so I’m glad it will exist. Being unable to pre-pay weekly/fortnightly etc is bad enough in the switch over because it much helps with budgeting for most people! Please do consider mentioning the browser version being available in your communications though.

Minimum top up on app is £10.00 will this be changing anytime soon. With old app used to top up just £5.00. We went live on new app 5th November
one not very happy customer
Hi

the min topup is £10 on the app which is why on the 25th we are off to octopus
Good news,
Why is the browser option still not showing up in communications about the PAYG? Where is it?

Now no one’s even bothering to reply to my questions. What a GREAT service.

When I joined I enjoyed the fact I only had one balance, could top-up with my PC and even got a nice reminder when I was low on credit.
Now, none of that is the case. You’ve made things significantly less easy. I now ‘need’ to use an app? Why? I find phone apps fiddly a lot of the time. The old system worked absolutely fine.
The phone app has also failed to save my card info.
I’m glad I was warned that you’re no longer the cheapest option and I’m about to switch. This nonsense would have likely ended my custom anyway.
Boost
youve gone from the best to the worst!!!!
your payg+ smart customer I couldn’t fault I never had any problems auto top up was a dream now however it’s a nightmare for me. 3 times you’ve cut me off power now! Whilst having a surplus credit in gas account! So it’s bye bye hope the morons who changed everything get sacked. It’s a pity cos no other company offered those features so you stood out now your just the same,
I have switched now to bulb who have told me both my gas and electric will be cheaper! Unfortunately I still have to top up separate accounts but they do text you when your account gets to £3 so you have chance to top up before disconnecting.
I advise all you customers to switch it’s easier than what boost offers and it’s cheaper
good luck

Hi
Please know that you can use PAYG Smart via a browser as well as our app. The link to use for the browser version, which you can use on your PC, is here: https://boostpayments.paypoint.com/Energy
The phone app has also failed to save my card info.
You’re able to add these manually in the ‘Manage accounts’ section.
Appreciate your honesty,
Best of luck with Bulb - what kind of app do they have these days?
