Updated 30/09/2020 - Here’s how to recover your vend code:

You will find the 20 digit vend code on the bottom of your receipt. You can type this in if the message doesn't reach the smart meter. If you’ve discarded your receipt, reach out to Boost via the communication methods below for further help.

We’ve also recently made changes Smart PAYG. See this guide for info on the latest.

Hi Donna 1stly I'm sorry to hear of your situation the best thing I can advise is to contact the Support Team on webchat or send a message to their Facebook or Twitter pages and they will be able to advise you on what to do.

Please let us know how you get on.

Kindest regards,

Hey @donnakitts27,

@Sophie1983's right - we'll have a record of your vend code internally so we'll be able to give it to you over the phone if you call.

I just moved into a rented apartment and I was given a vend code by my housing agent for electricity top up. Unfortunately, the meter keeps giving me a "REJECTED INCOMPLETE" message. Then I realized that the vend code was incorrect/incomplete.

It has 19 digits. Please what can I do?

Sorry for the confusion there, @Midekeji1.

I’ve moved your post over to this related topic on ‘Vend Codes’ - these are 20 digit numbers printed on a top-up receipt which allow you to add your top-up manually.

Sounds like your housing agent may be getting confused, if you’ve just moved in we’d advise getting in touch with our Support Team as your first point of call - they’ll be able to set-up an account in your name and advise the best way to top-up in future. You can reach the team on 0330 102 7517, Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm and Saturday 9am - 2pm.

Hope this helps get things back on track!
