The Government Price Cap is increasing: what you need to know

Because of the increases in the costs of delivering energy to customers’ homes, the Government price cap has been raised - and across the industry Pay As You Go rates are increasing.

We are giving you the heads up that on the 1st October, our single rate and dual rate tariffs will be increasing in all regions of the UK by 4.8%. Standing charges are also increasing in all regions by a very small amount (less than 1p). We’ve kept any increases as low as we possibly can to keep our prices competitive.

To keep you informed, you’ll receive a letter or email confirming this before the end of next week. This will also confirm the new rates in your area, as they vary depending on region.

This change will put us 10th cheapest amongst PAYG suppliers, but this is likely to change during September and October as more suppliers update their tariffs in line with these industry changes.
