With the clocks going back this week, I suspect for some of you that signifies the time to lift the ban on putting the heating on!

I'm keen to know who has control of the thermostat in your home? Is there one person that secretly puts the temperature up when no-one else is watching?

Are there any measures you put in place to help save energy through the winter? Get posting below, we'd love to hear from you all! Be good to get your thoughts, @Smiter and @B4xsy, @Aadil, @SandraT

Mines has been on for couple weeks. Thermostat is set about 15 or 16. I don't have it on timer as I figured out last year that its actually cheaper to leave it on constant then the house doesn't go cold and you have to heat the whole thing up again.

Good shout @Smiter :)

Anyone else tried that? Does it save money? I've always wondered!! We tend to keep ours timed to come on morning and night, but would be good to hear from others how they manage their energy.

Well after the coldest day of the year so far yesterday, I'm pretty sure everyone will have put their heating on now if it wasn't already!! Brrrrrrrrr.........

Keep sharing below who owns the thermostat in your house, or are there any of you out there, that just add a layer, or get the big fluffy slippers out first!!
